Explanation of the price table

All files are prepared for optimal use with CAT-Tools for the translator by our project management team. As a result, aspects such as word repetition can be analysed, thereby reducing the price.

Native-speaking, specialist translators are always used for translations with transmit-Deutschland. They ensure the right tone in your translated text.

We set up a translation memory (TM) per language pair for each and every customer. A TM is a database in which the translation is linked to the original text, sentence by sentence. For further translations, this ensures 1. consistency and 2. lower prices by taking entries in the TM into account as well as repetitions.

A customer glossary is a list of specialist terminology defined by the customer that should be used in all translations. We can save the glossary digitally, thus ensuring that your in-house terminology is used throughout all your translation projects.

Translations carried out by native-speaking, specialist translators. Final inspection done by our project managers.

Translations carried out by native-speaking, specialist translators. Copy-editing is then carried out on the target language text by a second native-speaking, specialist translator. Lastly, final inspection is completed by our project managers.

The new international DIN EN ISO 17100 has replaced the old European standard DIN EN 15038. Both are quality standards for translation services. The 6 eyes principle fulfils the requirements for translations carried out i.a.w. DIN 15038 / ISO 17100. transmit-Deutschland is registered for this quality standard.

We save all translation data for our customers on secure servers for a period of at least 5 years. The benefit for you is that you can access past translations years after completion if you can no longer put your hands on them yourself.

Why can’t you find an online calculator for translation costs here?

An online calculator cannot take into account the following aspects:

  • text in pictures, which is not editable but must be translated
  • terms or sections of text that are not to be translated
  • repetition in the original text
  • an existing translation memory
  • text originating from PDF files
  • numbers in the text
